Thumbs up If Ray Does Not Move You - You Don't Have A Soul

Either you're lacking a soul or decent speakers....one or the other.

This is for you Bob Ford & Terry Crouch. RIP Two great Americans and two great Moderators who are no longer with us.
And allow me to also toss all of you forum members onto my personal appreciation list.

    The Ray Charles lyrics.

    "America The Beautiful"

    Oh beautiful, for heroes proved,
    In liberating strife,
Who more than self, our country loved,
    And mercy more than life,
America, America, may God thy gold refine,
    Till all success be nobleness
    And every gain devined.
And you know when I was in school,
We used to sing it something like this, listen here:
    Oh beautiful, for spacious skies,
    For amber waves of grain,
    For purple mountain majesties,
    Above the fruited plain,
But now wait a minute, I'm talking about
    America, sweet America,
You know, God done shed his grace on thee,
He crowned thy good, yes he did, in a brotherhood,
    From sea to shining sea.
You know, I wish I had somebody to help me sing this
(America, America, God shed his grace on thee)
America, I love you America, you see,
My God he done shed his grace on thee,
And you oughta love him for it,
Cause he, he, he, he, crowned thy good,
He told me he would, with brotherhood,
    (From sea to shining sea).
Oh Lord, oh Lord, I thank you Lord
    (Shining sea).

It's times like this is why I keep TP and PTs (Paper Towels) right by my Lazy Boy.

Yesterday I scored some new tuneage. Charlie Daniels singing old hymns. I got 'What a Friend We Have In Jesus' playing right now. Cranked. I was raised on the old hymns.
Scored a 3 CD changer w/twin cassette player @ the same time+another CD of old Beach Boys w/20 of their Greatest Hits.

All that for $15 thereabouts w/tax. Life is good.

When I was little and in grade school we all learned how to sing this tune. Back in the late 50s and early 60s this song was called My Country Tis Of Thee.

Certain people can sing certain songs, and move people that others could only hope to.
Ray Charles is one of those "Certain People"

If anyone has ever heard Ted Nugent guitar solo & also Leann Rimes Star Spangled Banner gets me the same way.
