    Another beautiful day in Kentucky

I'm not the emotional type, but today as I pulled headed out of our neighborhood, I thought to myself "Wow, what a beautiful day!".

83 degrees, low humidity, light breeze, big fluffy clouds, and everything's very green due to the amount of rain we've had this summer.

I took some pictures to share with all of you. This is at the Lloyd Wildlife Management Area in Crittenden where I went to watch a Trap tournament.

It was a great day, my wife and I got on the motorcycle and did the Rabbit Hash trip. BBQ sandwich, cold beer. Great day to ride.

As an aside, I have always wanted to got to the Crittendon Wildlife area as I understand they have a rifle range, but some have said you have to shoot through concrete tubes. Have you used the range?
I'd rather be lucky than good any day

I haven't shot at the rifle range but I stopped and checked it out while some guys were shooting. It's set up for 100 yards and you do have to shoot through tubes that look to be about 1 foot in diameter. Not sure if they're concrete or metal, but they make a very loud BONG! sound when they shoot through them. Given the shortage of outdoor ranges in the area it may be worth checking out.

Looks like you all had a good turn-out for the tournament as well. Nice pictures by the way, the landscape here in the South is one of the reasons I love living here. Thanks for posting!

Don't be so anxious to promote the beauty of the Bluegrass. The very reason why this is such a remarkable place to live is because so few people...know it! Ggggooo 'Cats"!

That is my concern, my AR has a Battlecomp muzzle device and that thing is LOUD as it ports to the side. A 100 yard range would be nice, I am getting tired of shooting it a t a 25 yd. indoor range.

It would be an even more beautiful day in Kentucky if I got my CCDW license.

Put 150 miles on the bike yesterday, nice ride through the country, lunch in Madison and a little junk shopping. Our summer has been so hectic it was nice to just go and not think about a schedule.
