    Youngin' #2 has arrived!

Been a whirlwind last few days. Our 2nd daughter was planned to be born this Wednesday by c-section...but this past Wednesday (a week early) the little one decided to get started on her way. We were partially ready for the trip to the hospital...so we scrambled to remember what we needed extra, and out the door we went. So after a crazy, fast night time drive to the hospital about 45 mins. away (trip took approx. 30 mins. including stopped by the law...who alerted the next county we were entering and sent us on our way when he found out what was happening), Janaya Alexandra was born. 8lbs 12ozs, 19.5" long. Mom and li'l one are doing good.

While Mom and baby were resting, I did a few errands in town. One stop was a pawn and gun shop. For the second time I tried on a G26 and G19 in my G17 holster, and have pretty much made my mind up that I want the G19 over the G26. Without going into detail, after my wife is ready to get back on her feet fully, I want to see if she can handle my G17. If she can, it'll be the house gun, and I'll buy the for my G19 carry gun.

Been 6 years since we had a new baby at home...so here we go again!

Congratulations on a healthy little girl and a healthy Mom!

"He went on two legs, wore clothes and was a human being, but nevertheless he was in reality a wolf of the Steppes. He had learned a good deal . . . and was a fairly clever fellow. What he had not learned, however, was this: to find contentment in himself and his own life. The cause of this apparently was that at the bottom of his heart he knew all the time (or thought he knew) that he was in reality not a man, but a wolf of the Steppes."

The Glock-19 should work out very well.

Everyone's healthy and in one piece. That's truly what matters.

Since this isn't your first dance, you'll know to stock up on the sleep whenever you can get it. And you know this is going to be a pretty wonderful time.

    Congratulations!

Congratulations - and best wishes to all of you including older sis who needs to feel extra important now that she has "competition".
