I am posting this information at the end of my "Prayers needed" thread, but it grew to 2 pages and possibly folks won't see this happy update news so I gave it a new start here.
My poor dear hubby is finally home now. They did a colonoscopy this morning and found a couple little things, but nothing really bad. That was the really good news!
Unfortunately it took another 5 hours after that before he finally got his walking papers. That seems to be typical though. We are both really worn out and will probably just veg out tomorrow. At least we will be together and can eat REAL food cooked at home!!!!
Hubby is happy that the temperature in the morning is going to be just above freezing so he won't feel even a tad bit guilty about not getting up to go play golf, which he shouldn't do anyway. I was running on adrenaline the past couple of days so I'm pretty pooped out also.
Once again I want to thank each and every one of you for your thoughts and prayers over past couple of traumatic days. Gramps and I are "of an age" where things like this take way too much out of us. You gave us strength.
Getting old was not on my list of "things to do" in the Golden Years!
Talking to each other here is good, but taking action is better.
That's certainly great news.

That is great news.

Happy to hear hubby is back home again and you two can breathe again. It'll take a day or two for that adrenaline to wear off, so I hope you can just back it down to idle for a bit.
So what was the diagnosis, if you don't mind my asking?

Good news. Take care of yourselves.
The situation will NEVER BE THE WAY YOU WANT, it WILL BE THE WAY IT IS. You must be FLEXIBLE ENOUGH TO ADAPT and just "DEAL WITH IT".
Good deal Sounds like a nice weekend of resting up and chilling out is in order for both of you
Glad you're both back home!!!

Glad Gramps is okay. A few blems on the plumbing ain't bad, considering. To his/your health.Grief, challenges, lively debate ... all of these I know. But 'strength,' eh? Well, gee. Y'all aren't too bad yourselves. You gave us strength.
Thanks for updating us. Tell Hubby he can trade in some of those prayers to pray for good weather, so he can get back out to the golf course.
If the greens aren't frozen, it's not too cold to play.

Also remember, When you go to trial by jury you are putting yourself into the hands of 12 people who weren't smart enough to get out of jury duty.
Glad to hear it! Great news!
