Thanks everyone for all the good discussions and info so far, I hope to give and get a lot more in the future. I've spent a lot of time on a 1911-specific forum also, but DC has become the first place I turn for firearms-related questions.

I believe it is the 500 post threshold. I passed that quite quickly and found the same change in about a month or two (was really active then).

I'm always amazed at some of the overly active members who in a few months have more posts than I do in 4 years, or those members active about the same amount of time as me who have 3, 4, 5, or 6 times as many posts.

You gotta wonder how some of these folks have time to shoot their guns when they seem to never be away from their keyboards.

I think this year with the dearth of ammo and the resulting adjustment of my shooting habits. I think I am enjoying my shooting sports by proxy through other venues.

Don't look now but before you know it you'll be a Senior Citizen with bifocals and 30 extra pounds below your belly button. Your hair will be gray or just gone and you'll wonder where the years went...
