Pay it forward a story i never told

This is a true story that started a few of months ago while on a motorcycle vacation in PA . We were finished our ride for the day and staying in a hotel and a Pizza Hut next door . We decided to walk over a grab something to eat .

We ordered our food and were waiting and three people came in , i am assuming a Father , Mother , and their special needs son . I overheard it was the young mans Birthday and they were making the day special for him . So when i ride it is so theraputic and it gives me so much time to reflect on my life and how lucky and blessed i am and a day or two before i won a fair amount of money at a casino in the Poconos .

So i am sitting at Pizza hut thinking and i say to my wife i want to buy dinner for these folks as it reminded me so much on my life . So i go to our waitress and give her more then enough money and cover food and tip . Now today at a Macaroni Grill someone bought me and my family lunch . It was a wonderful feeling that someone would give my family a blessing as well .

And also for some strange good reason my son's Ipad has gone back to working and now he is able to talk and use this device . I think in life things are bigger then all of us and a higher power is in force .
And in closing i will buy dinner for other folks in the near future as i know the feeling it gives to share your blessings . Merry Christmas to everyone and may your families be blessed .

And blessings to you and yours also.

Many times in my younger life people helped me. I figure I owe a whole bunch of goodness to a whole bunch of people and I try to repay those kindnesses by passing them along.........just as you and others have been doing.

Imagine in this day and age treating each other as we wish to be treated. Good Job and may next year have good times in it.

An act of kindness like that can affect someone, in a positive way, for the rest of their lives

Turn the election's in 2014 to a "2A Revolution". It will serve as a 1994 refresher not to "infringe" on our Second Amendment. We know who they are now.........SEND 'EM HOME. Our success in this will be proportional to how hard we work to make it happen.

Now that I'm getting older I can afford to do more than my body will allow. I find I get more out of helping others than doing for myself. I taught as a volunteer, skiing and snowboarding for 15 years. The kids I taught were elementary age. Recently a twentysomething couple stopped me in the store to ask if Id still be teaching when there kids got there! Its nice to know you are remembered. DR

There are still good people in this world, although sometimes they are hard to find.. Nice thing you did.

I don't think they are hard to find because there are too few, but because they do what they do without asking to be recognized.

A lady two ahead of me at the grocery store was holding up the line because she had to keep removing things she couldn't afford when she was checking out. She was only trying to buy enough to feed her family of four for that evening. (about $40). The guy in front of me said to the lady, the cashier and the bagger, "Merry Christmas, here's the $40, and bag it up." There really are some good souls out there.
