Prayer please for my baby UPDATE AFTER SURGERY

    Hi all

Sorry for a new thread, wanted to make sure it was seen and didn't know how to change the title of my old thread. So many of you had asked to keep everyone posted, so I wanted to update everyone on my baby Willa Rose.

She went into surgery around 9am this morning and was out by about noon. The surgery went well and they were able to repair her kidney but had to cut the bladder a little. The pain was so bad that they basically had to put her back under via the use of morphine. I called my parents and asked for the prayer chain to be updated to ask specifically that people pray about the pain. About 30 minutes ago she woke up with a totally different attitude! My wife and I were in the corner praying when we heard her start talking. We gave her her stuffed puppy and she started to play and smile! What a relief and a total answer to prayer!

This is by far one of the hardest things I have ever gone through. I am absolutely useless when it comes to watching my kids go through pain. I want to thank everyone on this forum for their prayers and thoughts. Nothing in this world could convince me that those prayers and thoughts were not responsible for her successful surgery and her quick recovery. This is a very special forum with very special people and my family feels very blessed that you have our six as they say. God bless!

Very, very glad to see this post! I can't even imagine how hard this has been for you. I hope you get to take a long, long break from any hospital visits.

    Very good news indeed!

So glad her surgery was a success and your little girl is on the road to recovery.

She'll be up and running around before you know it.

    Thanks for the update.
