    Prayers for my grandmother

My Grandmother has led a blessed 101 year old life and the Lord is going to take her home soon. She has been mobile till the end, even after a broken hip 6 years ago. We laughed at how fast she got around in her walker.

Anyway, my sister called today and they said she is...just getting old. They think sometime this week. I pray she has no pain in the coming days.

She took care of me as a child for a few years when my mom was not able to.

Thanks guys. I know I can be a pain sometimes.
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

    Isaiah 6:8

"May the Peace of God be with you and your Grandmother always. Amen."

I pray for her to enter Heaven in peace and with no agony. It is something we must all face someday. It is my prayer that her "crossing over" will be peaceful.

Will keep you and your family in mind and prayers Suntzu.

And I have never seen you as a pain to anyone here. Some of us may disagree on certain matters but we are a community; we choose to be in each others presence.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.

God's peace & rich blessings to your Grandmother & your family. May her eventual passing be celebrated as the pinnacle of a life well-lived. If she's tough, smart & rigorous enough to make 100+ years, then her family should (in-turn) be equally tough, smart & rigorous enough to happily let her go on with the BIG ADVENTURE.

And, for the record, suntzu, you are no bigger pain than...the REST of us!

    Absolutely...
Ignorance is a long way from stupid, but left unchecked, can get there real fast.
