    I need help...

I need help in any way I can get it. I just found out that my close uncle has been diagnosed with advanced liver cancer. He went into renal failure a week ago, and developed pneumonia and a blood clot on his lung. They did a biopsy this morning, and sampled surrounding organs as well. The cancer has spread to his kidneys and surrounding organs, and he is going into heart failure from the strain on his body. The cancer has silently ravaged his body for who knows how long, and the doctors have given him two weeks. There is nothing to save, except for our memories. I am heart broken, I am angry, I am sad.

Sorry to hear about your Uncle. I know it doesn't really help, but there are times you can do nothing but pray his suffering will be short and minimal pain. Will keep him, you and the rest of the family in my prayers.

Have been there to a certain extent. Mom and younger brother. Help as much as possible. Memories are amazing and they last forever. Everybody in my family knows my brother, but a lot of the young ones never met him.

So sorry about your uncle's condition. Spend as much time as you are able to with him. Prayer always helps even if we don't realize it. Will be praying myself.

Prayers being sent for your uncle. And for you. Not bring false hopes but my father was operated on for kidney cancer at age 55 didnt get it all plus they discovered during that he had bone cancer as well. This was years and years ago. Sewed him up, told him he had 4 to 6 weeks and sent him home with no meds no radiation no nothing.

He died at age 85 after 28 years after that point of active daily cattle horse and tobacco farming on three family farms. It aint over till its over brother.

That said be with him if you can. Wifes oldest son passed of liver cancer at 34 a few years ago. Our most precious memories were made during the last six months of his time here on earth.
