Ah, well, just got out of the hospital

To keep this to the basic facts, I had significant new pain Thursday night, thought I had pulled a muscle in my back. Went to work at the hospital early Friday morning, walked over to our same day care, figuring there wasn't much they could do, but better to get it checked out. Well, that set off a chain of events that landed me up on the cancer floor for Fri into today. Turns out I had a PE (blood clot) in my lung--boy did that sucker hurt!!!! They alos drew out a couple cups worth of icky looking fluid out of my lung as well.

Waiting for the pathology report to see if there is new cancer growing.......guess we will see.

Chaplain Scott, that is scary stuff. Hang in there bud. My blood condition makes my blood clot with no provocation and I've had many of the suckers. Legs, lung, brain (X2) and other than the brain, they all hurt. I am praying the cancer has not decided to make a return visit and it was just a clot.

What he had not learned, however, was this: to find contentment in himself and his own life. The cause of this apparently was that at the bottom of his heart he knew all the time (or thought he knew) that he was in reality not a man, but a wolf of the Steppes."

Sorry to hear that. Here's hoping that's over and done with.
