    Another Prayer Request Folks.

    I have been helping a friend deal with some serious family problems. Specifically surrounding his 11 yr old son. About 5 yrs ago the family lost a baby girl from a congenital heart defect about a week after she was born, within two weeks from that the wife's mother and uncle passed away, then the boy's puppy was run over in front of their house while he was watching. About a year later the wife was diagnosed with a disease which has no known cure, and all treatment can do is help alleviate her discomfort. Things have been better for the last few years, in fact they have since had another child, but needless to say their oldest boy is scarred emotionally. They are all Christians, but I can't help but think the boy's concept of God is of someone who takes away the people that you love. Nevertheless the family are very strong in their faith and are an example to all of us that know them.

    Well, it seems that the boy's problems got the better of him this last week, and he tried to commit suicide, he failed, thank God, but is now in the hospital under observation. Needless to say, the parents are both shattered, and there is no telling how the emotional trauma will affect the mother given her physical state. The family really doesn't need another tragedy, they have had more than their share, it seems. All I can ask is that you all pray for them. Please.
