I'm not old enough to be a part of the Vietnam generation, but I have a ton of respect for the 'Nam vets. Things taught to me from those guys saved my hide more than a few times.

Thanks, Geezer. Regardless of one's politics, regardless of one's agreement or disagreement with a particular war or anything else, our troops deserve our respect and support. The Vietnam vets didn't get much of either one....

I was just a kid during Viet Nam but listened to much of the music. Man does it bring back a lot of memories. My cousin was in Nam and made it back alive and in one piece. Viet Nam vets deserve more than they got, let's hope our men and women in Iraq are not treated the same. God bless all who served and are still serving.

    +1 I echo this sentiment.

I came of age in the '80's, but classic music is always timeless.

Many thanks for the wonderful memories, of a tragic and very
difficult past; but most importantly much respect for those who
have gone before, and with much hope for the future of those
from the 'Nam war that are blessed too be with us.

    Respectfully,

I hear ya Bumper and heartily agree. Politics are one thing but respect and admiration for our troops is quite another.

    Thx for the link Geezer.
