Congrats! Where can I get some of that water that causes women to like guns? I really need some.

Hearty congrat's John ........ it is well apparent I think to us all here that you have an absolute precious gem for your wife.
I am lucky too in fact and just coming up to 7 years with my lady wife and know what it is like to share life with someone who is beyond what we may have ever hoped for.
May you guys share and enjoy countless more good years together

No.. he just did his reconnaissance, laid down good defenses around his target, outflanked the competition while laying down covering fire and swept me off my feet before anyone else even discovered his plan of attack.

I had three proposals for marriage before John. But I was a picky girl who was not about ready to settle for anything less than someone who was 100% perfect FOR ME. I wanted to make sure that when I vowed the rest of my life to someone, I'd be vowing it to someone I could imagine being around for the rest of my life.
I put poor John through hell and made him jump through a year and a half worth of hoops before I'd even date him, even after three years of friendship. I set him up for rigorous testing of his character and will and in the end I found that not only was he everything I needed, he was more than what I ever dreamed of wanting.
This will be two years together as husband and wife, four years together as a couple, seven years together as best friends and eight years since I met the greatest man I'd even have the privilege to meet.
Thank YOU, honey, for being there for me, no matter what, and being my best friend!

Congrats to both of you.
