Big shooting day
Well its offical the doc said I got the big "C". Cancer of the neck, I go in the next Monday for an operation hopefully to get it all cut out Doc says he pretty sure he can get it all but its a 50-50 chance I,ll have to go the chemo route. and I will lose partial use of my right arm I'll be in the hospital 7-10 days and down at home 2-3weeks then re-evaluated SOOOO a couple of my shooting buddys called and and said I need to hit the range before Monday and I am packing up my Sig 229, S&W 1911 PD, Colt WW1 repo, Sig 220, and a Colt Offical Police made in 1955 that so far is unfired and all the ammo I can carry and shoot till my arms give out, Doc said he can get back about 80% of my right arm back but I am going to practice some left had shooting today. Life is funny I spent 26 years in the Army made 103 jumps with the 82d Abn and a couple other units and spent about 18 of the 26 years in the damn infantry and never got a nick then a little lump in the neck well thats the circle of life I guess. Keep the faith brothers and keep carrying so the bad guys find out who is really running this country. Sorry for the long post just need to vent
Out for now

I've gone through the cancer twice. I hope the doctors are able to get it the first time and you don't have to have chemo. Good luck

Sky ........ scary news and you will be in our thoughts for sure.
Have a great shoot and let's think positive here so that even tho you may lose some arm use, you will strengthen your left arm useage to point where it is good as right.
Keep us up to speed on this so we can be with you all the way.

"He went on two legs, wore clothes and was a human being, but nevertheless he was in reality a wolf of the Steppes. He had learned a good deal . . . and was a fairly clever fellow. What he had not learned, however, was this: to find contentment in himself and his own life. The cause of this apparently was that at the bottom of his heart he knew all the time (or thought he knew) that he was in reality not a man, but a wolf of the Steppes."

Concerning the 80% - Since you're starting out at least 20% better than the average man then 80% will put you back to an Average Joe 100%. You'll still be shooting right handed. Stay Strong.
