Well I finally made it home just over a week ago spent 13 days in the hospital and man if I knew then what I know now I don't think I would do it over again. I still can't eat except through a feeding tube and I sound like donald duck when I talk. Doc says the swelling in my throat will go down and I will be abale to eat and my voice will come
back but hell i cant even walk around the damn block without a nap. Good news he rearrainged something in my right arm so i still have about 60% and its getting better every day and like my old lady says I am still alive so I guess I should quit bitching. I guess the eating part is the worst I never wanted to drink a glass of cold milk so bad in my life.

Hang in there! Things should start getting better soon. Listen to your wife, they usually know more than we do...

Hey - great to see you back - it sure has been a while.
Sounds like you went thru hell and some, but hopefully now you can progress steadily toward relatively more normalcy. I am sure it will be a tedious process but - stick around with us and we'll try and kick butt now and again - so you feel back amongst your friends

Advice For Us 'Older' Gents...
As you revive in the morning...
Don't open eyes right away...
Listen for music and check for the smell of fresh cut flowers...
If neither of the above appears present...open eyes and get up...you're ok!
SkySoldier...sounds like you're on the upside of recovery...hang in there...we're glad you back 'at us'...

Welcome back! It's obvious you are on the mend because you are making jokes. Don't over do it, and get back healthy. Look forward to seeing your name on posts regularly.
