Contratulations, Darryl. I'm sure you have been told this before, but this time we mean it: Welcome to the REAL world. The one will 2 o'clock feedings, diapers, etc. You will love it. I'm glad for you.

    Hey Congratulations!!!!!!!

I will never forget the day my son was born. Cherish these times... they go by so fast.

Congrats, the first 2 weeks I did everything as the wife was recovering from a C-section. It was worth it, the bond between my daughter and I is very strong. Roll up your sleeves and get down and do everything you can, you will not regret it. If people want to buy gifts for you.

    Portable playpen
Lots of bibs and small face cloths
Receiving blankets are useful, kids love to puke!!
    powered swing seat
train set (dad has to have fun to!!)
When they decide on which stuffed animal is the "special one" buy several of the same kind so you can wash them and the world will not end if they lose it. TY toys makes nice stuffed animals.

Don't be afraid to spell off each other, having both parents tired is crazy. Make Mom take a few hours nap in a room away from the baby. Mom's cannot turn off their radar when near the kid, being able to get some real sleep helps a lot.

Lot's of people are going to give you advice, some good, some not. Go with your gut and support each other. If Mom thinks their is something wrong with baby they are generally right and get it checked.

Don't be surprised if the crying gets to you (it's meant to) If it gets to much, check the diaper, put kid in crib and go into another room and destress. Everybody is human and has limits, it's normal. If you have family call your Mom, she will love to give advice!!!

P.S. buy your toys right now, soon you will have no free time or money!!! But you will never regret it!

When in doubt smile and enjoy!!!

Hey congrats! Your life will never be the same but that's a good thing!!!!

Glad that everyone is doing well. May this young life be a blessing to you and your wife.
