A pause to remember our Bob Ford.

June 24th - it is one year since Bob died. Hard to believe.

There will be relatively few here who knew him of course but I was fortunate to have at least spent time chatting on the phone a good many times. Really felt I had gotten to know the man, and counted him as a friend - one I dearly wish I could have met.

So today I am simply making remembrance and saluting him - R.I.P Bob.

Wow, can't believe that it's been a year!

I wasn't fortunate to know Bob personally..just through his posts here.

Bob - you're presence and posts are missed here!!!

I woke up this morning thinking about Bob, as well. A glance at the calendar is all it took. He was a good man that I considered a friend even though we had not met face-to-face. I am glad to have crossed paths with him.

    Here's to ya, Bob

I only spoke with him via PM, but I know he was a stand-up guy.

It wasn't long after I had joined that he left us.

I read many of his posts and replies, and from what I read he was a fine gentleman. This tiny little corner of the internet, and our community in general lost a great supporter.

Thanks for the reminder, Chris. I had been on the board only about 4 or 5 months then, but during those months I had an opportunity to read posts from Bob and to realize that he was the kind of person who makes this particular board the great place it is.

We lost Bob and he'll be missed (although I think I'll finally get to meet him someday) but we got you, too so the day shouldn't be all sad. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
