Just checking in.
Thanks for thinking about me, Skysoldier, I appreciate the concern.
Hope all is well with you there, I'm just playing the waiting game here. Had the full body PET scan yesterday (Wednesday) with the radioactive IV dye to see if any cancer cells 'glow in the dark'. Tech who ran the test said the Oncologist should have the results on Friday, but the Oncologist doesn't work on Friday so I hope to be hearing from them the first part of next week.
Other than that, not much happening. 22 year old son passed two more stages in his quest to join the Police Department where he lives. Hhe did the polygraph and the psych evals, passed both without a problem. His oral interview board is next week, then after that just the medical physical and a situational awareness video test. He shouldn't have any problems, the academy starts the first week of September. Once he hires on as a cadet, he will be considered a full time city employee and that will free up some of our money.... might even have enough in a month or so to go looking for another gun, LOL !!
Have a great weekend,
Sounds like your son is well on his way. Police depts. dont send you through the pysch and poly unless they intend on hiring ... they are $$.
Good luck with your health concerns too.

Dave, Glad everything is going good I knew you had an appointment for the scan and just wondered how it turned out. Tell your son congrates on the job my son has been a cop for about 10 years first a deputy sheriff now he is starting a new job with a small city police force up by Cleveland OH the first of Aug. He really likes the job, I guess I am getting old I don't thinks I could put up with the BS they have to put up with nowdays. Well keep the faith brother and let us know how the scan turns out.
Good luck to your son in his new job !
I'll ket you know what I find out next week. This waiting is worse than a kid at Christmas......
Hey Dave good luck on both counts. My fingers are crossed.
Thanks BlackKinght, I do appreciate your thoughts and those crossed fingers.
I have never been one who likes to wait on anything.
Having to wait on the results seems like an eternity.......
