My Dad.
My dad has been sick with cancer and the treatments for a couple of months now and he has been confined to a wheelchair. We just celebrated his 70th Birthday yesterday, he was talking and laughing all day.
This morning my Dad and his wife woke up and ate breakfast and she went to go feed the animals. When she came back Dad was not responding to her.
I spent all day in the hospital and they say he might have suffered a stroke.
I do hope that Dad will be getting better but it's not looking good right now.

We will be much better off when we learn to deal with things as they really are, instead of how we wish them to be!

My 85 year old father had a stroke several months ago. He called me on a Sunday morning to say he didn't feel very good and I could clearly tell his speach was altered. It scared the crap out of me. I headed in and grabbed him and took him straight to the hospital. They got him on thinners and I was able to bring him home on Tuesday. They can do wonderful things in the hospital now. Your in our prayers and don't give up hope.
