Looks Like I Finally Have Work!!!
Well looks like I may finally have a job lined up finally. That means I might get my home intarweb connection back.
I have a line in at an Ambulance company doing their Dispatching. I'll find out tomorrow if I have the job or not.
I've missed you all and can't wait to get back to contributing my oft' uneducated and missguided opinion. Hope to be back soon.

Good news, hope it works out for you! Hope you get back soon.....

We will be much better off when we learn to deal with things as they really are, instead of how we wish them to be!

Best of luck, and here's to hoping you have a thick skin. No matter how good you are at your job, the roadies are gonna call every name you've ever heard and even some new ones. Deep down we really do know that you didn't arrange for some schmuck (with a 3week old cold that just wants a free ride to the ER) to call just as we were pulling into the station to cleanup and go home, but yours is the voice thats sends us back out there, so we hate you for it.

well, i'm just finishing my 4th day of training and they already threw me in one of the chairs. I compressed about 2 weeks of training into about 3 days. I'm kinda lucky in that my father was an ER nurse at UCDavis for about 14 years and he was a volunteer firefighter/EMT for 16 years so I grew up in the medical community and the terms and acronyms just come natural to me...
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
