Outstanding Skysoldier. That is great news. I've got a family member that 10 years ago had cancer of the throat and they only gave him 3 months to live. He is as healthy as a horse now. My prayers are with you, may you continue your recovery.

Keep fighting the good fight. You and other cancer survivors are an inspiration to us all! God bless and may you live and prosper for many more years.
Awesome news!!!!!
Hopefully, this is just the first in a long, prosperous series of positive check-up results.

Blame it on Sixto - now that is a viable plan.
skysoldier,
My apologies for not seeing this and offering congratulations earlier..... but now that I have read about your good news: CONGRATULATIONS !
Just goes to show that us old farts are determined to stick around and bug the younger folks, LOL !!!!
I'm a year and a half out, oncologist told me on the last visit that the PET scan schedule is now just every six months. That was nice to hear.
You have been in my prayers, as has JimmyC4, sounds as if we are all being looked after, each in our own way. Each passing year takes us all further away from our trip across the pond so long ago and makes us realize how furtunate we are to be here, in spite of all the medical stuff !
Great news! While this is on the other end of the spectrum, I'd like to remind all of you 50 or over to get a colonoscopy. I was scared to death and put it off. When I finally did it, turned out to be a piece of cake. It WILL save your life if positive.
Treat me good, I'll treat you better. Treat me bad, I'll treat you worse.
congrats

Congrats SS, and hopefully you will have many more years of good news from your oncologist. My son is 20, and has been in remission for 16 years, now. Every day is a gift, enjoy them.
