Good News - uncle's cancer in remission!!

    Hi Everybody!!

I always go to Bob's place first when I log on to offer prayers when requested, and I have to admit that the thought of posting one for my uncle is after-the-fact.

Anyway, my uncle has smoked 2-3 packs of cigarettes a day for over the last 40 years. Well, he was in and out of the hospital last Dec and Jan for what doctors thought were bad cases of pnemonia (sp).

A malignant, fast-growing mass was detected in his lungs and in his liver in February. Stage 3, very aggressive. My uncle began rounds of chemo and alternated his "off" weeks with alternative therapies. (His daughter-in-law specializes in alternative medicine and pediatrics.) Not very sure what the 'alternative' therapy consisted of, but apparently IV-injected Vitamin C in large doses.

My aunt called this week to inform us that a CAT/PET scan was done and NO cancer could be found in his lungs, liver, or anywhere in his body!!

    He is currently in remission.

I know that there are fellow Believers on this board, and I just wanted to humbly request prayers and thoughts of thanksgiiving on our families behalf to Our Lord for this miraculous healing. I completely understand that He provides 'tools' for our healing, but I want to give Him the full credit that HE deserves.

Sadly, my uncle isn't very close to the Lord, so we're also praying that his eyes will be opened during the extra time that God has granted him.

    Thanks!!

That's great. I love to hear about people beating cancer. Hopefully, he will give credit where credit is due and become more of a believer....
