I hope your mother in law is in little or no pain. Losing a parent can be very hard, so it is more important for you to be with your wife to help her through this tragic event. It was very hard on my wife when her father lost his fight with cancer almost 5 years ago. My prayers for your family are sent.

Grand mother had congestive heart failure and breathing gettting slower and slower until it stopped. It was hard for some members of the family but she was better off passing away at home surrounded by the people who loved her. I think I can speak for the people of DC to say" We wish you the best of luck.
