To our Veterans and active duty personnel on Memorial Day.

I'd like to personally thank every one of you for your service to our country this Memorial Day. You're America's best and our biggest source of pride.

I know it's a bit early but my Step-Dad, a WWII Naval Veteran himself, is having some health issues now so I wanted to make sure I let you all know how much you're appreciated in case I'm not able to get on here Monday. Again, THANK YOU for all you've done for us!

Your welcome, and thanks to all those currently serving. You are not forgotten and we appreciate it!
There are two sides to every issue: one side is right and the other is wrong, but the middle is always evil.

I truly appreciate your thanks. When I came back from Korea in 53 someone asked me where I had been. After I told them their only response was "Oh". When I came back from Vietnam I was one of the baby killers. Its nice to see that more people respect the military now - its the first time since WWII.
Its a shame that youth is wasted on the young.

Hey, I think you Korean and Vietnam Veterans are tops! My Uncle left bits of himself all over Southeast Asia and he's one of the finest men I've ever had the honor of knowing.

BTW, my Step-dad's doing much better now. Turns out he had a bleeding ulcer, no small thing at 85 years old but the docs have everything under control now. Thanks for all your well wishes, it's appreciated.

We appreciate it! Not a day goes by that someone doesn't stop me and thank me for my service. I've been in for 22 yrs and will retire this month. Sure will miss it!
