Just thinking about a buddy and thought I'd share

I was talking to someone and the topic of his Nephew came up and his 2 tours in Iraq as a dismount in a Bradley. I started sharing about a friend of mine that was lost in 2002 and it got me to thinking about him.

I know 2002 was a long time ago, but we sort of grew up together and had lost touch for a while. I was reconnected with him when I got a call one day at the office and was told that Brian had died in Afghanistan, I didn't even know he was over there (which is sad on my part).

    SSG Brian T. Craig

This is a site his parent's put up for him. It was kinda cool last Christmas Eve when I went to see the troops off at DFW Airport I spotted an EOD patch and started talking to the Soldier and he knew my buddy. Small World, especially in EOD.

Anyway, I just thought I'd share the memory of a hero past; my friend SSG Brian Craig.

Thanks Paco I can never tire of reading about one of the members of our armed forces serving in a war zone that made the supreme sacrifice so we can continue living in this great country out of harms way for the most part.We are reminded every day why our young men and women put their lives on the line and I don't think we can say thank you enough.
