Got hitched.. and I love TN!!!
so i got married
everything went absolutely perfectly. had such a great time.
i ended up not carrying in my dress simply because it would have required the purchase of a new gun to do it. and as great as that would be, i dont have the $ for another gun right now.
anyways. everything was just great.
i have now also offically moved to TN, and i gotta tell ya, going through the paperwork here was a MILLION times easier than in michigan. getting a license and new tags and everything was just great. not only did it not take long, but the people were friendly, and they took credit cards (mi doesnt). Also getting my carry permit was a breeze. just had to fill out the renewal form and show them my MI one and I'm all set to go! No having to be a TN citizen for so long, no retaking any classes, not one second of not being ablt to carry (they count my MI one as valid till my TN one comes in). I gotta say, i just love it here.
Also, Im still looking for some shooting buddies in the tri cities area. so if anyone is interested. let me know!

Wonderful news. And I guess you could have also registered at the local gun store, so your new gun wouldn't be from your $$.
Again, congrats and enjoy the rest of your lives together (even through the rough spots).

Congrats...good to hear it all went easy. I'm also considering a move to TN from MI and it's good to know all the paperwork is easy :)

a wedding registry at the GUN STORE?!?
oh that is one way to start a happy marriage out...just does kinda send the wrong idea, like the back to school gun and knife sales..

Congratulations! May the proverbial honeymoon never end! (it's better that way!)
It's also nice you moved to TN! The people are so much nicer in the south!
