    Thirty-seven Years Ago...

It's hard to believe the my wife and I have been married for 37 years...TODAY....

It took many of those years, but I have finally learned to follow her directions. (I had to throw that in as she sometimes reads these.)

We met during the middle of that first summer...and were married 71 days later....

In reality, it has been quite a ride...some bumps, lots of laughs (now she actually gets most of my jokes), love and trust both ways, we NOW really think somewhat alike...OK, many times we think alike....OK, sometimes we think alike...OK OK, we have now been known to think alike......actually, thinking alike means I've chosen to see things her way

I've learned a new language that has helped me gain understanding into the woman's world. Some of the vocabulary includes: "Yes, dear!"..."I hear what you're saying, dear."..."I'll get right on that, dear!"..."Honey, that's EXACTLY what I was thinking."...

I couldn't have asked for a better partner...she understands me better than I do.

I look forward to many more years together.

Stay and respect your spouse...stay safe!

Congrats. Having just "experienced" my 35th, I know exactly what you are talking about.

Yes dear, and yes mam, save me from a lot of mental wear and tear.

Very good. I learned the "yes, dear" quickly, but the other stuff is still ahead for us. Congratulations.

37 years represents too much time investment for her to boot you out.

Just too much trouble needed to break in a new guy (that's what my wife of 34 years says about our marriage).

Ain't it great when you live with your soul mate?
