    The dress I'm wearing is a Vietnamese ao dai, made for me by a couple Vietnamese ladies that are in-laws of my p/t boss. I had a hard time finding a proper seamstress, not to mention having to keep it Top Secret! It's very fine silk, and the bottom half is like pajamas. It has 3-D flowers with beads on it.

    Mrshonts had no idea my dress came in the mail and was hiding in a shoe box in the back of my closet.

    I might have been able to ankle carry, but I was really afraid with everybody ooh-ahhing my dress and examining it, somebody would end up seeing it. The fabric is very fine and "swishy."

    My little 4 year-old niece was going to be the flower girl, but when she realized she had to walk out on front of everybody, she freaked out and cried a puddle on my shoulder. She said she was sorry and she didn't want to do it because she was too shy, and I said it was OK and I wasn't upset at her and she could go sit with her parents. Poor kid.

    Now I have to do all the legal name-change stuff. I just spent over two hours at the DMV changing my DL and carry permit. I'm stuck with the temporary papers for the permit until I get the updated one.

    It was great to be able to officiate for Betty and Will. I asked her about carrying, and reassured her that if she wasn't able to, I'd do the necessary on her behalf if called for...

    I don't know how much hardware was concealed during the wedding, but I think that most bad guys would have been very ill advised to drop in!
