Grand-Mother died at 103
I saw that some others have posted family deaths. My grand-mother passed away recently. She was 103 years old. I feel like one of the immortals has died. She had been around as long anyone can remember. And I mean almost anyone, whether they knew her or not.
Two days before she succumbed to pneumonia she was able to communicate, give everyone hugs and kisses, and even knew my boys (her great-grand-sons) by name.
She has now joined my parents in a better place.
Hold your loved ones close and don't be complacent. Even the ones who seem like they will live forever, don't.
God bless and protect you and yours.

Sorry for your loss.
I have an Aunt that just turned 100. When those folks die they take a lot of history with them, and it's a great loss.

What a great age. I wish I could have spoken with Her, She must have seen a lot in Her Day. You were so Lucky to have Her around so long. Think of the good times You had with Her. It will make You smile.

Sorry about your loss.
It is awe inspiring to consider that your grandmother lived through nearly half of our country's history. What a ride!

It's never easy to lose a family member but She did surpass most peoples life expectancy,I had one grandma that passed in her 60,s from cancer and another lived to be 83,The one thing that makes them special is the invaluable memories and lifes lessons they taught us that we carry with us and pass on
