Going under the knife...Tues. a.m., me, too!

I am having a bouncing, baby hernia tomorrow.
    Or, something like that.
Will be laparoscopic. So, recovery shouldn't be too bad.

Nurse called this a.m. to ask a bunch of questions (felt like speed dating, or something). When she asked what I was allergic to, I replied, "Pain!"

I'll probably be back soon. If anything I post sounds weird (weirder than usual?), blame it on the drugs.

    I'll settle for good drugs.
My wife will make sure I behave, and give plenty of TLC...
whether I like it or not!

(Of course, I like it. I do, honey. Really. I'm serious.
That other was just a joke! )

Good luck Michael...and it's called 'Morphine'...I always ask for it by name.
I love those 'handheld button' with the self-serve, of course you have to be having an organ removed before they'll take the order.

    Dave et al,

    Thanks!

    I am doing pretty well.
    Thank God for laparoscopic surgery!!!
My wife had her gall bladder out about 20 yrs ago-full abdominal surgery. This was NOTHING compared to that.

They had a time getting my O2 saturation levels consistently up above mid-80s. Once that was done, out the door and headed home.

I was pretty sore, but I have hurt myself nearly as bad by being a weekend warrior in basketball or racquetball.

    Moving slow.
    Taking it easy.
A few hundred posts on DC.
    2 novels.

    So, overall, doing well. Thanks.
