Wishing you and yours the best of luck. please let us know how it works out.
Will pray for you for sure.. Remember that God is in control, and had the final word for EVERYTHING.. Also know that God allows things to happen to strengthen us for use in HIS glory.. Look at Job, maybe reading that book again wouldn't hurt,. When struggles come, I tend to go back and re-read that book again and somehow I feel better.. Give God all praises..
Good advice. And I find that I question God's decisions a lot less after having read the last couple of chapters of Job...
My dad had this procedure about twenty years before he passed from cancer: the technology is better now, and the procedure is pretty routine. God can certainly take you out wherever He chooses, but I should think you'll be at Wal Mart griping about lack of ammo in a couple of weeks.
Prayers, certainly.
Our prayers will be with you and your family.

Praying for you, Sarge.
My dad had a valve replaced many years ago. It's absolutely amazing what doctors can do nowadays.
Keep us posted.
Sometimes on a clear day, I can see into the future with this spotting scope.
I am home! They did the heart catheterization and found a VERY leaky mitral valve. The cardiologist told me I was blessed because other than the valve, my heart looked to be in excellant condition. I am scheduled for surgery on 6/2 (first in line for that day). He estimated the surgery to take 3-5 hours and about 7 days in the hospital. This is an answer to our prayers. It sounds crazy to be wishing for open heart surgery, but if that is what I need I am ready for it. Thank all of you for your prayers and best wishes. It means a lot to have a support group with a common interest like we do. Again, from the bottom of my leaking heart.....THANK YOU !

Sarge7882...Praise God, glad to hear the 1st round went OK.
We'll be praying the surgery will be successful as well.
You've got the prayer, pal, best of luck. The cath procedure isn't bad, it's the 6 hours in recovery where you have to lay flat, and can't sit up that sucks. When I had my cath, I had my eyes closed. Since I've started venous and arterial central lines in the groin, I know the procedure. I felt him palpate the artery, and I was waiting to feel the stick from the anesthetic, when I heard the doc say, "We're at the heart!". I couldn't believe that I didn't feel the stick, or the insertion. I made that doc my cardiologist .I had been seeing one of his partners for a visit or 2, but this guy was so good, I wanted to keep him.
Glad that you're going to be ok, I understand what you're saying about wanting to get operated, at least you'll be fixed and able to enjoy your life again.
Great news Sarge. You'll be back sooner than you think. We'll be watching for updates!![]()
