I am back home!!! The doctors did the surgery and I survived it (barely). They actually had to split me open two times. Thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers. I believe you are one of the reasons I made it. I was told before the surgery that the national average of survival is just over 97%...I was very close to the 3% that don't come out. Keep the prayers going for my continued recovery. I am getting better by the hour and will be back to the range pretty soon. On my way home from the hospital my ammo supplier had a sign out that said all ammo caibers in stock...including .380. I can't wait for my sternum to heal so I can get back to shooting.

Praying that you have a quick and uneventful recovery...Congrats.
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.
