Lost my job. Maybe a prayer?
Well,
Like it said, after seeing my hours decline all last month waiting for a project to gain traction at work, the axe finally fell. I'm suddenly un-employed.
Worse, we had to sell my truck last month to help out my folks. The truck was to be replaced quickly with an older used truck to run a side business. Now that's out too. No truck=no side work.
If anyone could throw in a prayer for a quick recover, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks y'all.

Best of luck in the job hunt Arko. You will be in my prayers.

You're on my DC list...

Thanks Rock and Glock!
I'm sure I will. Trying not to panic and stay cheerful. It's good to hear from y'all though!

Sorry to hear about your job loss. Things will work out for you.
A lot of members here will keep you in their thoughts and prayers.
One door closes and another door opens up even in a bad economy.
Try hard not to let any negative or hopeless thoughts into your head.
That is an easy thing for somebody like me to say but, tough for you to actually do...but, try hard to remain in the positive.
Without really getting into it I'll say that me losing my one job (at really the worst possible time) ultimately turned out to be one of the best things that ever happened to me.
Sometimes you just get pushed off of the old road and are forced to start down a brand new path.
Often that new path leads to a much better place.

I hope you're right friend, and that's definitely how I'm trying to look at it.
I've already sent off 10+ resumes today, and will be hitting the bricks soon, so I won't sit around feeling bad.

Arko,
Will put you on the prayer list. I understand the pressures that come with unemployment.
I'm sure you'll find something. You definately have the right focus to start with prayer.

Prayers for you.........It's a good thing the Kings of Kings paid a price so prayers are free for times such as this.

Arko,
I spent a few rough years going back to school to get better equipped to take on the slumping economy and workforce. It was not easy, but my faith in God and people that He put in my life helped me tremendously. I can not tell you how many times that when I needed it most there was suddenly a envelope full of money in the offering box at church with my name on it. Or even a friendly call from someone at a time I needed a listening ear.
