The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it.
If the public are bound to yield obedience to laws to which they cannot give their approbation, they are slaves to those who make such laws and enforce them.--Samuel Adams as Candidus, Boston Gazette 20 Jan. 1772

Prayer WORKS! Thank you everyone, again, for the incredible support! Robyn emailed me another update, looks like things are slowly getting better. One out of the ICU, one to go. I am hoping that if Leslie is awake and able to write, then she is going to be considered "stable" very soon, and hopefully be able to go in for surgery.
No info yet on the hospital, I will email Robyn again. She's sending out mass emails for the updates, I'm sure this is all a bit overwhelming.
"Many of you have asked me to send updates, so here is where we are today. One agent is out of ICU, but not being released today as they though. There are complications from a head injury that are surfacing. Leslie, with the broken bones, is somewhat awake and able to write notes. She is in a lot of pain, and they are having to insert a trachea tube to help her breathe."
Just got this from Robyn:
Thanks so much for all the concerns and prayers. Brian is gonna check on the blood donations tomorrow and find out how to do it. I will let you know.
As for the cards, that would be wonderful. They can send them to Leslie Dorn and Stacey Murrell (Send them to SCDPPPS, 301 University Ridge, Suite 6500, Greenville, SC 29601. attn Brian Fahnle for Stacy or Leslie). ICU rules say no flowers right now, I will let you know when that changes. Brian took them teddy bears today.
Amanda and Johnny are the two that have been released. They are both having bad days today.
Here is the latest update. Stacey has a small fracture in one of the soft bones in her throat. She also has some memory loss they are still checking on. Leslie had surgery today, and they are planning more for Friday. She is stable tonight.
Everyone else is getting by. Brian and Steve (the warrant team coordinators and leaders) are going to have to talk to someone, which I am in major support of!! Other than that, we are taking one day at a time. We are hoping the news tomorrow is better than today's.
Thanks again so much. It is wonderful to have friends to turn to in times like these.

Brian and Robyn emailed me this morning with GREAT NEWS!!!!
"Here is the latest. Stacey's test came back good yesterday and she was finally moved from ICU. She was able to eat something yesterday, and said that made ALOT of differance.
Leslie is still in ICU. They are still planning surgery's for Friday and the beginning of next week. She is still stable.
The AIC is working on the blood donations, and I will keep you posted. I told the Sheriff's Office about it, and they are all ready to donate too."
So thanks again, all. Looks like Stacey will be ok and Leslie is finally out of the woods. A happier ending that anyone would have predicted when it happened. YAY!
