Prayers needed for 3 agents and 1 deputy
I got this email from some dog-rescue friends today. This was local(-ish) in SC.
--prayers needed--
Since we all know the power of good thoughts and prayers work..I need to ask for some. We have had three of our agents and one deputy seriously injured in a car wreck this morning. One of Brian's best friends, who works for the Sheriff's Office, was driving, Someone pulled out in front of him. He has appx 3 feet to stop and couldn't. Johnny, along with one of our agent's, is being released from the hospital with mild concussions, stitches, and alot of bruises. We have another agent that is staying in the hospital with a head injury and throat injury and another that is currently in the first (of many to come) reconstructive surgeries. Brian said everything from her nose down on her face is broken. He is still at the hospital with them.
Please say a prayer for them and their families. They were on their way to attempt a warrant service when this happened.
Don't frisk me, I am the weapon.

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Update -- 9:30pm Monday
I just got this update, it's not happy news...but at least it's not as bad as it COULD be.
I've asked my friends if there is a place to send flowers or cards or anything that the injured (or their families) might need. Will keep you posted.
Thank you so much, everyone, for the outpouring of support. Here is the latest:
"PLease keep praying, things are very bad right now. I just left ICU. Two agents have been released. Two are in ICU. One is stable, but she has a torn voice box. However she is awake and knows people. Leslie is not doing well, she is still not stable. All the bones in her face are broke, however they cant get her stable enough for surgery. Her blood pressure is very low right now."
I will also call in the morning and see if they can use a blood donation or something, we have a local Red Cross close by. If she is able to get to surgery, she will need a few units, I'm sure.

Prayers are on the way.... Do you know what hospital/location in SC?
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.
