    Rest in Peace, Jeff Dorr

    Town of Brownville man died Friday afternoon when he was crushed by the car he was working on.

    Jeffry Dorr, 45, of Dorr's Body Shop on Route 12E in the hamlet of Limerick, suffered chest injuries.

    Family members told 7 News he was alone and had the vehicle up on jacks when the accident occured. It's not clear exactly what happened.

    Dorr's mother and a friend were near-by and found him. It appeared the accident took place 30 to 40 minutes before he was discovered.

    Emergency crews were notified just before 4 pm.

    Jeff was a good friend of many, and for me a symbol of hard work who put more into his job than I ever thought a human could. He was good at his work, a wealth of information, 'one of the good guys', and someone worthy of respect. I humbly request that anyone who can keep his family in your thoughts and prayers. Forty-five is too young.

    You'll be missed, Jeff.
