Heart Cath in the morning
Fellow DC members I would appreciate your prayers. God is my Father and Jesus is my Lord, so I know I'm in good hands, but as He has commanded us to pray for one another, I ask you to honor Him by praying for me.
My wife brought me to the hospital ER yesterday morning with chest pains. They can't confirm or deny that I had a heart attack, but there is concern because my enzymes and other blood chemicals were elevated. Plans are to do a heart cath Monday morning and if there is blockage then they will do either a stint or balloon. Hope to be home on Tuesday. I'll post a follow up ASAP.
Sorry about your difficulty, it'll go well

relax in bed until it is o.k. for you to get up afterward; maybe 2 hours, maybe overnight. Honestly, I'd rather do another cath lab than get my teeth worked on.
If you are inquisitive look around the room a little and marvel at all that technology concentrated on getting you well. You might even be able to watch where the cath goes on a screen and watch where the dye goes, doesn't go. It is a bit surreal, but you can sort of turn it into a fun experience with the right attitude.
Aren't we all lucky we live in today's world, and not the world of even the recent past.
