I have an update, the cancer has gotten much worse, the doctor gave us 6 months today, Devastated I am. Trying to stay strong for her, the thought of her going away for good in 6 months sends me into an emotional wreck each time I think about. Thank you for your continued support. Sorry this isnt in more detail, painful enough thinking.

I can only guess how hard this is for you both. Keep up the good fight. Please give her first name if you are able, it will help us keep the prayers up.

I have been where you are. Know what? Don't bother being strong. She's strong enough. Be THERE for her. My wife seemed hurt that I couldn't cry along with her. Due to my work, and 'compartmentalizing' everything, I just can't get that emotional.
I think it hurt her, thinking I was being strong, when what she needed was someone to cry with. Do it. Ah, hell, just do it. She'll feel you really feel her pain, and you'll feel better.
Sounds like lousy advice, but trust me, everyone will feel better.

I'm sorry, 45. Sorry for what you're both going through, and sorry for what you will face afterwards.
Having lost both my father and sister to cancer, I do suggest you and your beloved take the rest of the time (and strength) she has, and do things she wants to do. Things she never found the time to do. Give her happy times that you will also remember her by.
Concentrate on the time you both have together - and making them good times, and let the loss come when (or if) it will.
((((((Hugs to you both.)))))

We are to rejoice in the LORD in all times,. I'm sure this isn't great comfort, and I'm not in your shoes, but I know God will see us through times like these "IF" we put or trust in HIM..
Philippians 1
Yes, and I will continue to rejoice, 19for I know that through your prayers and the help given by the Spirit of Jesus Christ, what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance.[d] 20I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. 21For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. 22If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. Yet what shall I choose? I do not know! 23I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; 24but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body. 25Convinced of this, I know that I will remain, and I will continue with all of you for your progress and joy in the faith, 26so that through my being with you again your joy in Christ Jesus will overflow on account of me.
I'll be praying for you both,.. May GOD's will be done through both of your lives,.

I couldn't have said it better. Prayers sent. But you are the one to make her happy here.
