Rest In Peace Captain Crunch - Continue to Pray for the Family

I just got home from work and had an update on Captain Crunch from his wife. Below is a portion of her email.

The us in the last sentence is Mrs. Captain Crunch and CC's son.

Allow me to add my thanks for all the expressions of concern for Captain Crunch. We often talk about Defensive Carry being the best gun board on the net, but when one of us has a need we very quickly demonstrate that DC and its members are the best on the net period. No descriptive words like gun added. Just THE BEST ON THE NET bar none. :35:

Will say a prayer for his continued improvement, and for his family. His Grace is sufficient.

In honor of the Captain, when I go shopping next week I'm going to buy, and eat, a box of Captain Crunch. :hand10:

A little update saw him around noon 8/13 and he was trying to open his eyes and attempted to talk a couple of times but is still on the respirator, but they are weaning him from it slowly.

Talked to the nurse last night and he was doing things for them on command so that a big improvement. He still has the infection, but his blood pressure is holding and he is off all blood pressure medicine.

He is still very sick and we know that we have a long way to go, I know that all the good wishes and prayers are helping both him and us.. Can't thank you all enough.

She also asked about how to get in to see all the posts. She doesn't know CC's password. I have made several suggestions and will be contacting Bumper to insure that she can get in.
