YES! She's doing well, chemo and radiation is done, MRI looks good. It looks like they got it all and nothing has come back yet!

First I am sorry to hear this news. Second there are new therapies (such as angiogenesis suppressors) that can shrink the tumor without causing neuropathies such as is the case with current cytotoxins. I am an independent medicinal chemist that consults to the pharmaceutical industry. Angiogenesis suppresors shrink the tumor and prevent metastasis by cutting off the tumor blood supply by preventing vascularization. Note that many physicians are not aware of these new compounds, which are currently marketed by several large pharmaceutical companies. I am very glad things are looking good for your Mom and I hope it contiunues to look good, I just lost my sister last Thursday to a brain tumour, it was Stage 4 when first found in June. The only good thing is that Brain cancer does not hurt much. I will send good thoughts to your money and hopes that she does well.

I am glad things are looking up for your mom. My mom recently went thru breast cancer treatments and lumpectomy surgery over the past year or so. Right after healing from the breast cancer treatment process, she had to have a biopsy on a tumor or growth found inside her belly. Luckily the test showed that it was not cancerous.
BTW the doctors have said she has no more signs of cancer in her breast, and no need for mastectomy. I hope things continue in a positive direction bro.

My prayers are with your mother, you, and your family. My father has beat cancer 3 times but is terminally ill this time around so I understand what your going through.
