    Good News for a change!

Two fridays ago I/We got married, this is a huge change for me,Ive not been married before and am 43,my wife brought to the mix a Wonderful little girl, whom I am in the middle of the adoption process for.
My new bride is a USMC armorer and 20 years younger, shes working her tail off trying to domesticate me,teaching me new words like,NO,BROOM,MOP,CLOTHES HAMPER...stuff like that.
After running wild longer than shes been alive I thought I would be more resistant to the idea of going home right after work, but now I can hardly wait for knocktime.I also am finding I make pretty good pay if I dont go to the beergarten after work!
Well, alot of the posts here lately have been rather sad, and I thought a little good news might be in order.
It is pardonable to be defeated but never surprised.

Learn to compromise, fall in love every day all over again. Take it slow with the new child. A marriage is like a flower garden, it takes alot of work, but when you nurture it, and groom it, and it finally blooms, it is a wonderful think to be a part of.

Best of luck to the 2 of you!!!! Z

Congrats! You've entered a realm, that if treated properly, can be a 'fulfilled life'.

Ahhhh, life with a woman...when things are 'rolling', there is nothing better.

I've heard someone say once, "Do you know why divorces are so expensive? Because they're worth it!"

In just 9 more days, the wife and I will celebrate our 38th year together...which hasn't been without it's challenges...but I have managed her 'training' without too many problems.

Ret.....I just watched this video, how excellent. BTW over the last 34 years I've been a frequent flyer to the doghouse.

Hank Williams Sr apparently knew about it in 1947, he even had a song about it........"Move It On Over".

Best wishes to you both! But, as far as "housebreaking", give her 20 years or so! My wife says I'm underestimating!

Congrats and best wishes for a happy family together...
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

Congrats. My wife and I have over 31 and it doesn't seem like more than 7 or 8. A good woman can do great things for you.
