    Lump's First Birthday

It's hard to believe the little Lump is already a year old.

We had a great birthday party for him filled with lots of family and friends and cool gifts.

You know you were born into a gun family when your uncle makes a sign of your name with barbed wire and empty shell casings...

His grandma made him an alligator cake:

    followed by a salamander cake:

This is what happens when you try to steal the boy's hotdogs:

    The whole family:

    Happy Birthday, not-so-little Lump!

    Very cool!

Okay, so does anyone else think 'Lump' has graduated to needing a new name? I mean, that's fine for when he's a rompin', stompin' pain in the midriff yet to be born, but the li'l guy has earned his place in the family and needs a new name, yeah?

    How about ...

    • Pistol Pete
    • Red Ryder
    • Magnum ... as in, the ol' .44mag
    • His initials ... what, G-B? (As in, Garrett Brock Limatunes?)
    • ?

    Any takers?

He does know what side o' the doggie his mustard's spread on, don't he? Boy, that's a 'hard' look, there.

Glad to see that momma's up and around. You've made it through the tough part (loss of sleep, etc). From now on, it's all downhill.

I met Lump live and in person yesterday; he has the personality to back up the "hot dog" face.

    A true "blonde bombshell," eh?

He's a cutie. He should smile more. He's surrounded by folks who love him. Got a salamander cake, too! Can't be that bad.

Speedloader is funny now......but not when he starts dating. Congrats on the first year, folks! Cute fella, and great family.

Congrates on the first year. It seems like it was only 35 years ago we were celebrating my daughter's first year - that's because it was. She'll be 36 next month.

Enjoy them while they are young. They grow up so fast.

Before you know it, he is off to college.

Love the hotdog face. Shall we change his name?
