Boss is in the hospital

While I'm working an OT shift at the fire department, the owner of the gunshop where I "work" calls. Not feeling good and wants me to check his blood pressure.

Well, after a quick fast ride to the hospital in an ambulance he's admitted to the cardiac floor for an arythmia. Tough stuff to deal with in any case but very true during the busy few days before Christmas.

Please some good thoughts for a young 27 year old man having a rough day and hope for a speedy recovery.

And some support needed for him to quit smoking. Going to push that for him now that he's had a wakeup call about his health.

I've been informed that in the last 4 days there were 2 people I know that passed away,one was a car accident,the other complications from back surgery.I quit smoking 16 1/2 years ago,best choice I made.Tell him to get some stop smoking medicine and find a quit smoking support group,It helps to have people going thru the same thing to reach out and give positive reinforcement.
