I suppose if you will bleed to death quickly otherwise it might be alright to inject chemicals like that............but
Getting old was not on my list of "things to do" in the Golden Years!

That is just awesome! If it is ever made available to us poor folks, I'd have a couple in my kit ASAP.
Make sure you have a good doctor in your good neighbor list too. I'm guessing the quick clot component
sticks it all together nicely. Easier to remove too.

Looks like the new RevMedx uses internal pressure of the expanding sponges to stop bleeding instead of a clotting chemicals which may be difficult to cut out and remove.

Very good sensible treatment idea. Somebody was thinking outside the box.

Good for the inventors if it proves viable. Would be a good feeling to know you invented something that saves a lot of lives.

Probably better than current options. Wouldn't be too good for those with serious shellfish allergies, though.

I am not affiliated with RevMedx, we just happen to be in the same state.

I think the invention is in the delivery system, the use of tiny sponges inserted from a syringe like device, not in the use of Chitosan (Celox?) I don't quite see why this would be any better or different from forcing Celox granules in via syringe except that the little
    sponges will expand too.

This looks just awesome in theory, though I'm skeptical.

Just what would the purpose be in having an applicator this large? I have yet to find someone who survived .50 BMG round to the torso.
