A very good thing to have in your bag of tricks should you ever need to communicate non verbally.

This officer is a pretty good teacher. Military/LEO folks may be familiar with most (if not all) of this already.

    Part II

You and your better half and possibly your kids should at least review and practice the more basic ones.
Commit them to memory. Some are plainly obvious and easily understood. That IS the whole idea.

I already knew about half of these signals. Good info to know.

I should add that some Law Enforcement teams will/may have some idiosyncratic communication signals specific to that team and some may differ from the above.

I really just put this here so some family folks can get a grasp on basic non verbal communication which may be very helpful or even life saving some day.

I've learned a lot of new hand signals since I moved to Florida...most of them while driving. While I haven't seen any official video explaining what they mean, I get the distinct impression that they all mean essentially the same thing...which ain't pretty.

Why is the police wearing a mask? If it's so secret they need masks... why is it on you-tube. Mostly common sense.

Don't forget the most important ones, "Get lost", "Hit the road", and "I have no idea what you're talking about."

His balaclava is only on for about the first minute of the 16 minute Video. Just FYI.
