So far there has been a lot of good information shared…Thanks to all those who have participated and to DefensiveCarry for providing a means for us to do so.
I also like that several of the topics and tips that have been shared can also be used for general preparedness…
It's kind of like having a prepper light forum…preparedness talk without all the doom and gloom.

Yes and special thanks to QK for all the great stuff he puts on there + all his hard work for all of us.
If the Union is once severed, the line of separation will grow wider and wider, and the controversies which are now debated and settled in the halls of legislation will then be tried in fields of battle and determined by the sword.
Prepping is one of my favorite subjects.
I've brought a lot of people on board. All of my close friends are preppers.
I figure the more people who are prepared, the less chaos there will be if the balloon goes up.
A "prepper" a day keeps bad juju away ... or, at least it minimizes the effects. Roger, that.
Of course, one has to find space for all that seed, food, water, ammo, fuel stores, ... Hm.
Been lurking for a while but this will certainly bring me back...

I want to chime in here and also say thanks to the Admins for creating this section. I have been hoping for this for a while. I belong to a few other sites that have discussion sections devoted to this subject but already, the one here is the best. Thanks again!
Woo Hoo I just made it under the concertina wire.
I started prepping during summer/fall of 1979. I started by squirreling away food. It kinda pretty well mushroomed from there.
