Its a Tom Brown Tracker. Its a Beast. 1/4" high quality steel. The leather scout style sheath is bought from a sheath maker, it comes with a Kydex.

That's a real nice holster you had made for that honkin' big knife. I've got a thing for leather like that. It's all my Mom and Dad's fault. When I was little they got me a leather marble bag. I have a rawhide drum painted with tribal drawings too.

I knew a guy 20+ years ago but he was real slow. He made 3 knives for me. Two of the handles are stag horn and one of ironwood.

Anyone have experience carrying a heavy knife scout style? I have a quality gun belt, but this knife is a beast to carry. I'm thinking an LBE may be necessary, if the need ever arises.

Depends on what you consider "experience". I replaced the floppy belt loop part of my Becker BK2 sheath with a Blade Tech Tek Lok and have been wearing it nightly while me and my team run our missions in the Call of Duty video game. But seriously here's a picture of how I set-up mine. I haven't had a chance to put it through its paces yet but am looking forward to doing so this next month.
