The sheep that runs still get caught by the wolf, only thing is he is now exhausted and can't fight. As for me I'm standing my ground, My wife and kids deserve it plus I did a pretty darn good job of hardening my house. You ain't going to kick my door in with one swift kick, hell I don't think you will be able to kick it in at all, want to smash a window to get in, good luck with the security film. If you make it in the house after that good luck with the 2 Belgian Malinois. In the meantime I've already hit the ambush button on my alarm system keyfob, got the kids and wife into our saferoom upstairs and have armed up.
I did take a few thing from this tread though and will address them,
1. it's time to install 2 more cameras outside in the trees so I can get a good look at the front and sides of my house before I go out the door.
2. mount a small monitor at the front door with feed from those cameras displayed so it will always be readily available and have no excuse for not looking first.
3. dedicate I-pod touches to the vehicles with access to the camera system so we can check the interior of the house when we return and the exterior before we open the garage door to leave.
Also for those with monitored home security systems, make sure that they Red-Bar your account screen "AMBUSH CODE-DO NOT CALL HOME OWNER-CALL SHERIFF AT ###-###-####IMMEDIATELY"

My local gunshop has an MG34 for sale perfect for a situation like this. 1000+ rounds per minute sounds nice in this scenario.
