Well done Orange! I almost get car jacked in the Sam's parking lot on Getwell a little over a year ago and now you have this happen. Walmart parking lots in general are dangerous places to be. Never know what kind of person is going to approach you.

By the way, what were you doing down in my old home town of Mobile? And how did you like it?

There's a very good reason why my head is on a swivel when entering or exiting a Wal-Mart at night. Glad everything turned out well.

Wal Mart parking lots are becoming notorious for criminals of every description!

I think you did just fine Orange but I doub't personally I'd tell "security" at Wal Mart anything... I'd be calling the Police.

Dialing 911 crossed my mind, but I observed enough of what the guy was doing, and it seemed he was just asking for a handout. What caught my attention was how startled the woman was when he stopped her.

At the time, I figured it was Walmart's problem if he was illegally panhandling on their property. Granted I wasn't going to stand by and allow him to assault this woman, but after I realized this was not the case, I felt it was best to turn the situation over to Walmart personnel and go on about my own business.

Mike, I've been travelling to Mobile since the early 80's and I still get there a couple of times a year to see one of my customers, O'Reilly Auto Parts. They have a distribution center in Saraland. I call on 23 of their DC's from Greensboro, SC to Seattle, WA.
