    Your have a point SigFan, on the other hand, there is a BG out there that also knows his arse could have been shot off and probably will not chance that crap again. Just a thought.

    You should check your state laws regarding this. You might find it has a law saying you can detain a suspected criminal until an officer arrives. There are certain conditions that have to be met, however.

    How is it kidnapping? It's not like he found some random guy, and ordered and held him in his house at gunpoint. The BG made the decision to forcefully enter the home without the homeowner's consent. That makes him the aggressor. He is just lucky the homeowner didn't shoot him, as he would have been fully justified in doing so.
